A school for another 180 children, nursery to grade 3, resumed in Bacolod city in June 2008. This school is serving indigent families living in and around Bacolod city. Currently ABC Children’s Aid is renting facilities from YMCA for this school. The leadership of YMCA has been so gracious to partner with ABC to help these indigent children who are living in the slum areas around the neighbourhood. The facilities needed to be renovated before the school could begin so ABC Children’s Aid gave funds for all the work and provided furnitures and other necessary equipments.
